We hope that you enjoy our website which provides all our club information such as pictures, members details and show results.

You will also find useful links to other sites local, national and international.
We have also included a short section entitled 'What is Agility' to give you a basic idea of what we do.

 
Club Details

We are a small friendly school based in Cheadle, Staffordshire catering for all standards of dog agility and obedience work, from beginners through to competition work or just people who want a bit of fun with their dog.

Scamp Shield

An annual trophy awarded to the SAS dog and handler who complete the most clear rounds during the calendar year. Open to all competing dogs and handlers at all levels.

Won Out in 2008

Jean with Scott won out of grade 6 (and into grade 7) at Dashin Dogs Show in August  

Kate with Stella aka 'Spider Pig' won out of Grade 3 at the Waldridge Fell show on 17 May

Amanda and Rogue won out of Grade 3 at the Lune Valley show on 21 June

Rosie with Tango won out of Grade 2 at the Beacon show on 10 May

Jess & Misty have just won into Grade 4 and have achieved Agility warrant Silver.


Doggie Fashions Fun Day
 
 

SAS performed an Agility Display at the Doggie Fashions Fun Day. Kate & Gin from Britain's Got Talent also performed.

Kennel Club International Festival
 
-  Amanda competed with both Minx and Rogue in the Medium Olympia Semi Finals on the Friday. The course was very challenging and unfortunately Minx was eliminated, but Rogue at only 22 months went clear and finished 11th, just missing out on going to the Olympia final.
 
 -  After getting two clears in the British Open classes Amanda and Minx qualified for the British Open Final on the Sunday afternoon, Amanda and Minx had a fantastic clear and finished a very credible 5th.
 
 -  Following their success in the British Open Amanda and Minx were selected for the England 2 Medium Team to compete in the Nations Cup. Along with their team mates, Karen Smith with Herbie and Lin Abbot with Hattie, they won the jumping class, came 6th in the agility class and finished second overall with Amanda and Minx going clear in both classes.

 -  Kate and Stella put in two great performances in the Novice Cup classes to qualify for the Novice Cup Final on the Saturday night. They managed another great run in the final but unfortunately just picked up 5 faults on the dog walk.

Ruth and Rosie went clear in the jumping class at their first show at North Derbyshire on 7 June


At the North Derbyshire show in June Amanda and Minx qualified for the Olympia Medium semi finals to be held at the KC Festival in August and two weeks later at the Lune Valley show Amanda qualified with Rogue for the same event.

At Ribble show on 17 May both Marie with Moss and Jess with Misty qualified for the Tuff Stuff final to be held at the Wirral Show in July.

Following the selection day in April, Amanda and Minx were selected for the British Team going to the European Open in Germany in July.

Due to their consistent performance throughout the year Linda and Josh qualified for the Dog Agility Rescue League final in June.

Amanda and Minx won their first Agility Championship Certificate at the Chippenham show in March.

Amanda and Minx won the medium section of the Gundog League 2007 and Linda with Chrissie came 4th.

What is Agility

Put simply, it is show jumping for dogs, the handler directs the dog around a number of obstacles and the time taken to complete the course is measured, along with the number of faults.
