Myndoc Minstrel for Craygill
AW(S) (“Scott”)
Scott, born 18th March 2005. This picture shows him aged 7
weeks, when he came home with us to join Louis and Ross

Since then he has started agility training, which he loves. He has
gained his Kennel Club Good Citizen's Puppy Foundation and Bronze awards, and has qualified for Crufts 2006 in the breed ring.
2006: Scott started
competitive agility at the end of 2006, fitting in just 3 shows before the end
of the year. At his first show, Ribble, he had a 3rd in Novice,
putting him into grade 5 for 2007.
2007: Scott had a
good year, gaining his Gold Good Citizen in April. In June he won both Agility
and Jumping at Lune to go into Senior (grade 6). He gained his Bronze Agility
Warrant in July. In September, at Easington he had his first win at Grade 6.
He can be quite shy, but enjoys training with his friends, and is gaining
confidence.
2008: a good start to the year, Scott gained the last points for his Silver
agility warrant at Chippenham in March.

"Louis and Ross both hold the Kennel Club Good Citizen's Gold award. !"
Lysebourne Aramis of Craygill AW ("Louis")

Louis is a tricolour Sheltie born in August 1995. Jean took him to agility training initially because he
was shy, she thought it would give him confidence - and it did. He took part in his first competition in the summer of 1999 and since then Jean and Louis have continued
to train as they both really enjoy it.
He competed at Starters Midi level and has gained a 6th place in starters agility at a Sheltie Club Show and places at Club events. He
finds midi too high, but enjoys training at mini, and taking part in Any Size Jumping classes. He is also shown in breed
classes.
In
2005 he was measured at mini and his agility career took off. He gained several top-10 places, including a 9th in
Novice after Ross had won him out of Starters.
“From
a nervous start Louis has turned (belatedly) into a keen agility dog. Now aged 10 the whole idea seems finally to have ‘clicked’
and he is doing many clear rounds and gaining some good places. He may perhaps not cope with the Medium height, but can do
veteran and Any Height classes” Jean Tuck, Jan 2006

In 2006 Louis completed his Agility
Warrant with his first win – Novice Agility at West Lakes in August.
In 2007 he retired from full-height
competition, just doing the odd veteran class. He even won one, again at West
Lakes.
Ch Dark Motif from Misstoff AW(G) ("Ross")

Ross is a tricolour Smooth Collie born in August 1999. He is a fun dog and attending agility gives him a
break from being a "Show Dog". In 2003 he gained a CC and RCC in breed classes, which gives him lifetime
qualification for Crufts.
In September 2002 he won Elementary Agility at Ribble, therefore winning out of Elementary for life. He has greatly enjoyed
his agility in 2003, and his many clear rounds and results include 2nd in Starters Time Fault & Out Agility at Wilmslow.

Dec 2004 : 5 months to the day of the first show where AW points could be gained, Ross completed his Warrant by gaining second place in
Starters Agility at Wyre! 200 points are needed – gained by clear rounds (1 point for jumping, 2 for agility, and more for
top-10 places). This completes a dream year for Ross with 29 top-10 places, qualifiers for two finals, and high positions in
both the Agility Eye and the Rough & Smooth Collie Training Association’s Agility Leagues. He has also kept up his
Breed Show career, gaining a second RCC to add to the CC and RCC he gained last year. He really enjoys his agility – and his SAS
training night is a highlight of his week.
2005: another brilliant year, with 34 top-10 places, a win out of Starters at Wyre in June, and
several placings in Intermediate soon after.
"Ross enjoys the mental (and physical) challenge of agility as a change from his show career.
He was easily distracted at first, but training with SAS soon taught him to concentrate – and now he is really focused. His
main handicap is probably the speed (or lack of it) of his handler" - Jean Tuck Nov 2003

2006: Ross gained a 4th in Novice at
Ribble, which put him into grade 5 for 2007. He also gained another CC in
breed, at Leeds Show in July, leaving him just one more to go to gain his title.
2007: An exciting year for Ross. At his first
show of the year he gained his final point for the Gold Agility Warrant. He has
found success in grade 5, with a good number of top-10 places. In July, again
at Leeds Show, he gained his 3rd CC and his show title. He is
unusual in having both a show title and an agility qualification to add to his
name. He still enjoys agility better than showing though!
