Our Trainers

Lorraine Walchester

Lorraine is the owner of Staffs Agility School and has taught both obedience and agility for over 20 years. She has achieved many successes starting with her Staffordshire Bull Terrier Jessica with whom she went to Crufts and Olympia, both considered the highest of achievements within the agility world.

Lorraine currently runs at champ with her Border Collie Lace. Lace achieved the awards to allow her to compete at Champ level at only two years old. Since dogs are not allowed under Kennel Club rules to complete until 18 months this was a great achievement. Lorraine and Lace also qualified for the Kennel Club Olympia Novice Stakes which were held at the Olympia Horse Show in December 2010 when lace was still only two years old.

Gemma Walchester

Gemma started teaching agility in 2007 when she had her first dog Edward, the only Bavarain Mountain Hound currently competing in agility in the UK. She has run in the Agility Club Starters Final, Team Dash Final and Laser Pairs Final twice. They are currently aiming for the ABC (anything but a collie) semi finals to enable them to try and qualify for Olympia Horse Show and are keeping everything crossed! Gemma and Edward have just won into Grade 7 and will be competing at their first Championship show in April.
