Ray Ellerton

Ray is a well-known Advanced handler who has been a Crufts and Olympia finalist on several occasions. In 1999 he won the ABC Agility Final at Crufts with Slipper, and the ABC Agility at Olympia with Razz. He regularly helps train less experienced handlers and dogs at SAS.

Dweezle Music Maker ("Slipper")

Slipper, Ray's delightful, dainty Whippet, was born in 1993, he is a very loving dog and will always give 100% in or out of agility
They started agility in June 1995, Ray used to be an athlete and stumbled across agility which has allowed him to continue running.
He has had a very successful career, coming 4th in the ABC Agility at Olympia in December '98 before going on to win at Crufts in March '99.
He is the first Whippet to reach senior level, we believe in the World !

Lightning Razz ("Razz")

Razz is Ray's Lurcher, a long-limbed shaggy-coated silver dog with an almost telepathic ability to read his handler's intentions. He won the ABC Agility at Olympia in December 1999, and the Lyons Trophy as runner up Show Champion at Newton Heath's Tatton Park show in June 2000. In July 2000 he won Senior and ABC Jumping at Wirral, and he won ABC Agility there in 2001.

Lightening Delph ("Delph")

Delph is Ray's new dog, a young black tri Border Collie who started competing in 2001. Ray and Delph love just being together and doing the best for each other.

Comments
It been a lot of hard work for our partnership to gel as it took 6 months to get our first clear then many more to get consistence but since November 2003 we seem to be one and are much more sure of what each one is doing. and what a friend he is always forgiving my mistakes and moods
