Tricia Robarts

Trish and her dogs Tammy, Abi and Dee have all done obedience training locally. It was watching agility on TV (the Olympia coverage) and at the Royal Show that inspired Trish to take up agility - it looked fun. Read her article on doing agility with her Dalmatian!

Honey Bunch ("Abi")

Abi

Abi is Trish's liver spotted Dalmatian, born in May '97, and they started agility training together in May '98. While Abi has had her ups and downs in training, she got off to a good start in 2000, coming 9th in Starters Agility at Rugby in July 2000. In 2001 Trish and Abi won out of Elementary at Ribble.

Tammy

Tammy

Tammy is a black and tan Collie cross, now 8 years old. Trish got her when she was 6 weeks old, and started agility training with her about 4 or 5 years ago. They will not, however, be competing together as Tammy would not behave among the other dogs.

Dee

Dee was born in 2000 and started competing in 2002 in starters, she won into senior in 2003 and a high point in 2005 was competing in the mini/maxi final at Crufts with Ray Ellerton and Delph. Dee suffers from a neurological condition which cavaliers are prone to, which makes all her successes all the more special for Tricia. This year (2008) she qualified to represent Scotand in the small team for the Nations Cup at the international festival, where she did 2 good runs to help the team come in 5th, then later in August she got 2 wins at the Northern Week show finally getting her to grade 7.
